Hello!

You don't know me, but my Daddy runs the Grand Chain web site. I arrived on the night of Friday, 13th September, 2002 at 2 minutes past midnight, so Friday the 13th will always be a lucky day in our family. I gather they're calling me Lorna Siobhan. Now Lorna's fine enough, but how am I ever going to learn how to spell Siobhan? It sounds nothing like how it looks - apparently it's said something like "Shivon".

Here are some photos of me with Mummy and Daddy just after I was born. They're worn out - Mummy had been at it all day and neither of them had much sleep. They came into the hospital at 3:30 on Thursday morning, but I was so big that it took all day to get me out. And anyway, I wanted to come on the 13th.

I stayed in the hospital with Mummy until the Monday, trying out this feeding business. I have to say it's not as easy as it's made out to be, and it's been a really frustrating experience for both me and Mummy, but we seem to be getting the hang of it now.

It's nice to be home, and to have met the cats, and to have things to look at. It was so boring in the hospital I just wanted to scream (and sometimes I did...) But now I'm home, and Mummy and Daddy play with me, and people keep visiting, and I can look out of the window, and I can watch Mummy and Daddy moving around, and I can listen to their music, and just everything happening. It's much better.

Well, I'm getting tired now - I've just had a bath and a nice supper, so I'll stop now. I might add more later.

Bye
